Description

ELOC reports the location where the activity was performed. ELOC is coded based on the respondent's report of where the activity took place as well as the location implicit in the activity codes. In contrast to WHERE, ELOC collapses all travel activities into the same cateogry.

ELOC is only available if you select a hierarchical extract. If you request a hierarchical extract and plan to construct time use variables in your statistics package, this variable may be useful to you.
