Description
WKHRS reports the number of hours the respondent worked per week.
Comparability
The 1965 survey collected hours worked in the last regular work week; the 1975 and 2003-forward surveys collected usual hours worked; and the 1985 and 1993 surveys collected hours worked last week. Thus, a full-time employee may have worked 0 hours or less than full time hours on account of a holiday or leave in the last week.
Universe
- 1930, 1965, 1998: All persons.
